About River

River has more than 10 years of experience years of working in community and personal support roles. She is passionate about connecting people with whatever they may need. River studied Political Science at Thompson River University, Aboriginal Health and Community Administration at the University of British Columbia, and Event Management at Vancouver Island University.

River is from the Métis Nation on her mother’s side and is Swedish and German on her father’s side. She was born and raised in Clearwater, BC and currently lives on the traditional and unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. She adores being alone in nature and spends a great deal of her time camping, hiking, cycling, and watching bugs.
