Dan Clouston

Senior Manager, Education & Career Development

About Dan

An educator at heart, Dan is passionate about supporting positive, transformational change through learning. With a background in science, he is also keenly interested in how technology can enrich the human experience.

Dan has been an instructor at FNTC since 2019, teaching a wide range of subjects—from data analytics to web development, IT support and more. Of mixed European ancestry, he is honoured and grateful to be welcomed into Indigenous spaces and for the people he has met, the places he has been, and the knowledge shared with him along the way.

Dan holds a Master of Education from UBC Okanagan and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UBC Vancouver, and has worked in the tech sector since 2014. He leads FNTC’s curriculum and learning systems, while also providing strategic leadership for the career development portfolio.

In his free time, Dan enjoys cooking, time with loved ones, and being outdoors. He is grateful to live and work on the traditional and ancestral territory of the ɬaʔamɩn (Tla’amin) Nation.
