Councillor Donald William's traditional name is ȾIOKSTEN.
Donald is a Councillor for Tsawout First Nation and does whatever he can to improve the quality of life for his Nation's People and First Nations People across British Columbia. He is eager to learn as much as he can and make a difference. A technologically-proficient professional, Donald has experience with Computer Systems Technology, including computer-specific education from Camosun College.
A culturally-oriented individual, Donald sees how Indigenous traditions and culture intersect with technology and innovation. He believes that First Nations communities must have access to and knowledge of technology for the benefit of future generations. Donald would love to see more Indigenous Peoples using technology as a way to share knowledge and lead in the economy.
Outside of his work, Donald enjoys spending time with his large family and is busy year-round with cultural activities such as singing for his community. Donald loves singing for his People.
