

Natiea has more than a decade of experience as an entrepreneur, across academia and in both the public and private sectors. In all her roles, she has advocated for institutional innovation and Indigenous renewal. As CEO, Natiea guides the organization’s strategic direction as it supports First Nations communities across BC to thrive in the digital age.
She has held several senior positions at Indigenous-led organizations, including as a Director at the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business and as the Founder of Makook, an Indigenous content discovery service. Natiea was a Founding Partner of Coast Educational Development Research (Cedar), previously worked as a Lecturer at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, and led the creation of a province-wide digital education strategy for BC Children's Hospital.
Natiea is a member of the Government of Canada's Advisory Council on Artificial Intelligence, where she focuses on AI for Nation-building. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University.
A member of Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc, Natiea lives on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations in Vancouver with her husband and two children.
