Daylan Joseph

Daylan Joseph is from Xaxli’p (Fountain Band) and currently serves as the Communications Coordinator for the Lillooet Tribal Council. He brings creativity, adaptability, and a strong technical skill set to his role, where he collaborates with departments such as IT and Emergency Management to strengthen communication and engagement across communities.

Daylan takes pride in helping communities stay connected through technology. He co-developed an audio/visual training workshop that made it possible for members to attend band meetings remotely—ensuring more voices are heard in important community discussions. His work has also enhanced the Council’s online presence, growing social media engagement and improving information sharing across the region.

A self-taught tech enthusiast with over two years of mentorship in website development, Daylan continues to expand his skills with the goal of pursuing a future in IT.

Outside of work, he enjoys video editing, live streaming, and restoring retro gaming consoles. He values time spent with his wife and their dogs, finding balance between creativity, technology, and family.
