About Sehar

As Manager, Career Development, Sehar leads the design and delivery of student-centred career development initiatives that support meaningful pathways from learning to employment. She focuses on creating experiential learning opportunities, coaching students through career transitions, and building bridges between training, practical experience, and long-term career success. Her work is grounded in curiosity, relationship-building, and a deep commitment to empowering students to grow with confidence and purpose.

Sehar brings a strong background in education, leadership, and human resources to her role. Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts before moving to Canada in 2015. She later earned a Master of Educational Leadership from Vancouver Island University, a Human Resource Management Certificate from Simon Fraser University, and holds her CPHR designation for BC and Yukon. These credentials support her people-centred approach to education, career development, and organizational leadership.

Outside of work, Sehar enjoys dancing, long walks, and unwinding with her favourite TV shows, good company, and comfort food. She brings the same enthusiasm, curiosity, and positive energy from her personal life into her work at the Technology Council every day.
