From June 10 - 12, members of the First Nations Technology Council team attended the EleV Biennial Network Gathering in Saskatoon, held on Treaty 6 Territory and the Métis Nation Homeland.
As an EleV Indigenous partner, we're grateful for the support that helps us advance digital transformation and create pathways for Indigenous youth to build digital skills, access meaningful work experiences, and become leaders in technology. We're proud to be part of a network advancing Indigenous self-determination through community-led solutions, relationship-building, and shared learning.
A highlight of the gathering was hearing directly from Indigenous youth about their hopes, experiences, and visions for the future. Their voices were a powerful reminder of why this work is so important.
We were also proud to see our Director of Digital Skills and Career Development, Kim, share insights on supporting Indigenous Peoples' self-determination through education and training.
Thank you to the EleV team, organizers, speakers, Elders, youth, and partners for an inspiring few days together!
