Andy Wong

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, Communications and Engagement, Andy is responsible for building the Technology Council’s brand awareness by ensuring that the Technology Council’s communications reach its target audiences online, though social media, newsletters, this website, and other online channels.

Andy has extensive experience in supporting members of the Indigenous community during transitional moments in their lives. He has worked as an employment counsellor, a tenant support worker, a child protection social worker, and more recently, as a user experience designer.

Andy is empathetic, student-centred, and motivated by his belief that education, skills training, and other forms of capacity building will lead to self-determination and independence for Indigenous Peoples and their nations.
