Indigenous Digital Enablement Series
Across BC, First Nations are building the digital systems their communities need. This work happens when Nations set priorities, make decisions, and guide how technology serves community goals. These projects matter because these decisions are made on the Land, in band offices, at council tables, and at community gatherings—not outside the community.
This series supports this important work. We bring together what we're learning from communities across BC about connectivity, infrastructure, and digital tools. Each report focuses on a specific area based on what Nations have told us matters.
The reports are written to be useful. They explain technical concepts plainly. They include examples from communities doing this work. They connect research to real decisions Nations are making about infrastructure, funding, or policy.

We're learning alongside First Nations in BC as they lead this work. These reports share what we're seeing so far about what's working, what's challenging, and the questions still being explored. They're intended to support conversations at council tables, in planning meetings, and when working with funders and partners
These reports share what we're learning. The work itself happens in communities, led by Nations.
